Moving from a legacy system to Maximo across multiple sites. The asset register we inherited has duplicate records, inconsistent naming, and locations that no longer exist.

My instinct is to clean before migrating rather than after, even though it delays the go-live by a few weeks.

For anyone who has done this — what caused you the most pain afterwards? Asset hierarchy, PPM schedules, or work order history?
